Preparatory Courses in Singapore

Preparatory Courses

 We are also able to introduce your children to useful preparatory programs such as problem solving, English/Mandarin language courses.  Your children will enjoy attending these classes as they are able to participate in the two way communication between teacher and students, and increase their problem solving ability, enhance their language skills etc.

 

They are also able to practice their English/ Mandarin language outside of school as the majority people residing in Singapore uses these 2 languages. This makes it easier for  them to adapt to the environment.

The preparatory courses are available island wide, some are located near to MRT stations and accessible by bus as well.

 

Preparatory Courses are available to prepare and adjust your child to the Singapore Education System. They are:

It is advisable to enroll your child into a preparatory course under the following circumstances:

 

1) He/She is weak in English, and /or other subjects like Maths/Science etc. If he/she is weak in English, he will not be able to understand the lessons that will be conducted in English at Singapore School. For other subjects, it is to improve his understanding and adapt to the Singapore System

 

2) He/She has at least 6 months of waiting period before the starting school, attending the preparatory course will help to adjust him/her to the Singapore system well and be ahead of his peers.
